GOD SEES AND HEARS! – Psalm 34:15 Devotional

GOD SEES AND HEARS!

Psalm 34:15 – Devotional

Psalm 34:15

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.”

If you ever feel that you are all alone and there is not a single soul that knows what you are experiencing, just keep today’s Scripture posted where you can assure yourself that God knows and cares about you.

Satan will always try his best to confuse, confound and condemn, but thank the Lord that we have a Savior who has been where we are and has overcome the enemy of our souls.

When you feel the crush of life, remember that God has loved you since the creation of the world and it is His desire that you receive His gift of eternal life. The God who created all things has given us the greatest gift that could ever be given.

Just remember that the gift has been freely offered, but it must be received and be opened to enjoy forever and forever. God sees us at the point of our greatest need and supplies freely from the storehouse of His grace and mercy!

Blessings dear hearts! God is with us today in order for us to be a blessing!

WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD! – Psalm 47:2 Devotional

Hear Pastor Cecil read today's Evotional

WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD!

Psalm 47:2 – Devotional

Psalm 47:2

“The Lord Most High is awesome! He is the Great King over all the earth.”

I try to recall the words of this chorus we used to sing when I was a teen. Believe me that was long ago! “Our God is an awesome God! He reigns from heaven above, with wisdom power and love! Our God is an awesome God.”

That may be long ago in my calculation of time, but in God’s reckoning, it is just a blink of the eye. All too we often use our own measurement of time or actions instead of striving to see our world as God sees it. I know we fall far short of seeing things God’s way, but God knows our heart and our desire to find His will.

At this season of the year, spend time alone with God in prayer and meditation on His Word. Ask God to reveal to you just a glimpse of His awesome glory. We are told that God inhabits the praise of His people. Stop and praise Him right now!

I stand in amazement when I consider that the God of the universe loves us so much that he came as a helpless baby in a rustic manger and died on a rustic and cruel cross. The depth of His love is beyond our ability to comprehend. One thing that we can always be sure of: WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD!

May God richly bless you as you bless others by your words and actions!

GOD’S PRECIOUS GIFT! – John 3:16 Devotional

Hear Pastor Cecil read today's Evotional

GOD’S PRECIOUS GIFT!

John 3:16 – Devotional

John 3:16

“God loved all of us so much that He gave His One and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but will be given eternal life.”

I must confess that I am absolutely terrible when it comes to gift giving. When my wife Joyce was still alive, she loved to go shopping, but she hated to drive. I, on the other hand loved to drive, but detested shopping! There I have confessed!

When it comes to the most perfect gift of all time, it would have to be the gift God the Father gave when He sent His precious Son in the form of a helpless baby to be born in the most humble circumstances and in the most unsanitary of places.

God was not born to impress the high and mighty, (according to their own estimation), but to the most humble among us. It was to reveal that it is not who we are that merits salvation, but what Jesus was born to give to those who receive Him.

During this season of gift giving and receiving, take time to prayerfully thank God for His most precious gift of all times! It is beyond human value, but its value can only be calculated in eternal terms. JESUS IS GOD’S PRECIOUS GIFT!

May God richly bless you as you bless others by your words and actions!
