SHINE BRIGHT!

Matthew 5:16 – Devotional

Matthew 5:16

“Let your light so shine before the world,
that others will observe your good deeds and glorify your Heavenly Father.

The seasons change as regular as clock work. We have just experienced the longest day here in the northern hemisphere while people in the southern hemisphere were in the dark longer than any other day of the year.

I have found it fascinating to observe NASA TV coverage of space walks. The astronauts who are outside experience periods of daylight and dark that last for minutes rather than hours.

In this world we will always experience periods of either light or dark. I am so glad that we have the brilliant light from our Lord to illuminate the world in which we have been placed.

Let’s face it – this world is a dark place and our mission as believers is to brighten the area around us. Is your light shining brightly so someone who is walking in darkness will see the light? SHINE BRIGHT DEAR HEART!

May God richly bless you as you bless others by your words and actions!
