OVERCOME EVIL!

Romans 12:21 – Devotional

Romans 12:21

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

While it seems as if the world is getting worse each day, the truth is that this old fallen world has been filled with agony and pain since the day Adam and Eve tasted the forbidden fruit.

The enemy of our souls never stops temping and enticing people to reject the truth of God’s Word and taste the forbidden fruit of human desire. Satan’s plan has never changed. It worked then and it is still working in our day.

The way we can overcome evil is to spend quality time in the Word of God. God has inspired His servants across the ages to record the wonderful truth that He loves us and that Jesus died that we might live with Him forever!

The way for us to overcome evil is to read what God has inspired, do what His Word says we are to do, and live with the confident assurance that we have eternity in our heart, and His love leading us to overcome evil with His eternal good!

May God richly bless you as you bless others by your words and actions!
