1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.“

Thankful in All Circumstances
(inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)

When the morning light is rising
Or the night feels cold and tough,
When the road is bright with blessings
Or the path is long and rough—
There’s a whisper from the Savior,
Soft but steady as it rings:
“Be thankful in all circumstances,
I am working in all things.”

I will thank You in my laughter,
I will thank You in my pain.
For this is Your will and purpose
For the ones You have redeemed—
To be thankful in all circumstances,
Trusting in Your care.
