Psalm 104:1<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Praise the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Watch<\/a><\/p>\n

Robert Grant lived from 1779 to 1838. Robert was elected to Parliament and was also appointed governor of Bombay. A medical college in India was named in his honor. He was knighted and became “Sir” Robert Grant.<\/p>\n

In spite of the earthly recognition which he received, Sir Robert was very much aware that there was the true King that surpassed all human kings. In verse five he describes this King of kings as; “Our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend.”<\/p>\n

“O Worship the King!<\/a>“<\/p>\n

O worship the King, all glorious above,
\nO gratefully sing His power and His love;
\nOur Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days,
\nPavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise.<\/p>\n

O tell of His might, O sing of His grace,
\nWhose robe is the light, Whose canopy space,
\nHis chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form,
\nAnd dark is His path on the wings of the storm.<\/p>\n

The earth with its store of wonders untold,
\nAlmighty, Thy power hath founded of old;
\nEstablished it fast by a changeless decree,
\nAnd round it hath cast, like a mantle, the sea.<\/p>\n

Thy bountiful care, what tongue can recite?
\nIt breathes in the air, it shines in the light;
\nIt streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,
\nAnd sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.<\/p>\n

Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail,
\nIn Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail;
\nThy mercies how tender, how firm to the end,
\nOur Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend.<\/p>\n

O measureless might! Ineffable love!
\nWhile angels delight to worship Thee above,
\nThe humbler creation, though feeble their lays,
\nWith true adoration shall all sing Thy praise.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
