Hebrews 11:1-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cNow faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Back when I was in high school (in the dark ages), I worked part-time at a men\u2019s clothing store. The store received a small newspaper called, \u201cGRIT.\u201d Just recently I checked online and discovered that it still exists.<\/p>\n

Back to my story. One day during a slow period I was reading the \u201cGrit\u201d and fond a poem that rattled my cage. I cut it out and carried it around for many years before losing it. I have wished many times that I still had it. I hope you enjoy what I recall. It went something like this:<\/p>\n

When skies are blue and sonbirds sing;
\nWhen flowers bloom, their fragrance bring;
\nWhen friends are around and funds abound;
\nWhen health and love are easily found;
\nIt doesn’t take a lot of sand to shout and sing, to beat the band.\n<\/p>\n

BUT – – –<\/p>\n

When things go wrong—as they often do;
\nWhen skies suddenly lose their azure blue;
\nWhen well laid plans fall into a crumples heap;
\nWhen weary eyes scream out for peaceful sleep;\n<\/p>\n

THEN\u00a0– – –<\/p>\n

Is the time to take our stand,
\nit’s the time to reach by faith and take God’s hand!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Blessings dear hearts. Draw near to God today, trust Him completely and be a blessing!<\/p>\n
