{"id":7310,"date":"2019-11-05T06:00:26","date_gmt":"2019-11-05T14:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/?p=7310"},"modified":"2019-11-07T09:09:05","modified_gmt":"2019-11-07T17:09:05","slug":"2-chronicles-714-devotional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/2-chronicles-714-devotional\/","title":{"rendered":"2 Chronicles 7:14 Devotional &#8211; ACT RIGHT!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2 Chronicles 7:14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><strong><em>\u201cIf My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I once knew a lady who spent a great deal of effort trying to get unbelievers to act like believers. The result of her efforts was exhaustion for her and created such animosity among the unsaved that they rejected the gospel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In reading today\u2019s Scripture, I immediately notice something in the first few words:\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #c40000;\">\u201c<em>If\u00a0<strong><u>My<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0people, who are called by\u00a0<strong><u>My<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0name&#8230;\u201d<\/em><\/span><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>That identifies the people who are being addressed. It is\u00a0<strong>His<\/strong>\u00a0people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why is this important?\u00a0\u00a0It is because the saved are the ones who need to be\u00a0<strong>re-<\/strong>vived. The unsaved need to be\u00a0<strong>vived<\/strong>. I know there is no such word, but I hope you understand my meaning.\u00a0\u00a0They first need to experience salvation and a new life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we pray for the Lord to heal our land, there must be a revival of the people of God. We believers need to fall in humility on our face and cry out to the Lord to forgive us for losing our first love\u2014the love of Christ.
