{"id":7033,"date":"2019-08-11T06:00:07","date_gmt":"2019-08-11T13:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonline.us\/daily-e-votional\/?p=7033"},"modified":"2019-08-12T10:21:21","modified_gmt":"2019-08-12T17:21:21","slug":"personal-peace-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/personal-peace-2\/","title":{"rendered":"PERSONAL PEACE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2 Peter 3:14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><strong><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a world where there is non-stop bickering, arguing, conflict, fights, and war, we need peace and harmony.\u00a0 It is vital that in the midst of the stormy seas of life we can know peace and live in harmony with those around us &#8212; especially those who are the hardest to get along with.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God has never promised us that He was going to change our world and give us pleasant, darling people to live with.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t expect that to happen!\u00a0 We are stuck with the ones we have.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesus prayed to His Father before His crucifixion. He prayed about you and me.\u00a0 His prayer was very significant.\u00a0 He prayed that we not be taken out of the world, but that the Lord would be with us in the world.\u00a0 Listen to His words in John 17:15-17 that are so meaningful to us in our day:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><strong>&#8220;My prayer is not that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one.\u00a0 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.\u00a0 Sanctify them by the truth; Your Word is truth.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blessings dear hearts.
