{"id":6358,"date":"2018-06-26T06:00:54","date_gmt":"2018-06-26T13:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonline.us\/daily-e-votional\/?p=6358"},"modified":"2018-06-25T13:11:44","modified_gmt":"2018-06-25T20:11:44","slug":"gods-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/gods-family\/","title":{"rendered":"GOD\u2019S FAMILY!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Matthew\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_910393301\">12:50<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><em>\u201c<\/em><em>For<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother<\/em><em>.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>My great fear is that there are many who consider themselves to be a part of the family of God who are not.\u00a0 Jesus&#8217; own brothers were not a part of His spiritual family until they accepted Him as their personal Savior.<\/p>\n<p>There are people today who think of themselves as being a member of God&#8217;s family because their parents had them baptized as infants. In my Bible there is no such thing as salvation imparted to infants! Salvation is by God&#8217;s grace and our faith &#8212; rational, understanding acceptance by one who has reached the age of accountability.\u00a0 It is the act of turning from our natural sinful nature and receiving Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Are you a member of God&#8217;s family?\u00a0 If you have never invited Him to come into your heart, you are still on the outside.\u00a0 You are not one of His family.\u00a0 Come on in!\u00a0 You will love our family!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins.\u00a0 I open the door of my<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0<em>life and receive You as my Savior and Lord.\u00a0 Take control of the throne of my life.
