{"id":6183,"date":"2018-03-20T06:00:08","date_gmt":"2018-03-20T13:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonline.us\/daily-e-votional\/?p=6183"},"modified":"2018-03-20T07:03:54","modified_gmt":"2018-03-20T14:03:54","slug":"your-choice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/your-choice\/","title":{"rendered":"YOUR CHOICE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Deuteronomy 30:19<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><em>\u201c<\/em><em>I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you,\u00a0that\u00a0I have set before you\u00a0life\u00a0and death, blessing and cursing; therefore\u00a0choose\u00a0life, that both you and your descendants may live.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I think that sometimes people forget the reality that to make no choice is in fact making a choice. Somehow they deceive themselves into thinking that if they do not personally reject God, they can have a clear conscience. <strong>WRONG!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I repeat:\u00a0<strong><em>Not making a choice is making a choice<\/em>.<\/strong> We all know that when we exceed the speed limit we are guilty of speeding and may receive a traffic ticket. If we travel too slow or park our vehicle in traffic we may be guilty of impeding traffic and receive a citation.<\/p>\n<p>God calls upon us to actively take the initiative to choose to follow His call for our life. In today\u2019s Scripture we read that God sets before us choices: life \u2013 death\u00a0\u2013\u00a0blessing \u2013 cursing. While it seems hard to believe that people would choose death and cursing over life and blessing &#8230; they do!<\/p>\n<p>What have you chosen in your own life? Have you determined to go with God and experience the peace that passes all understanding? If you have not made that choice, I urge you to open your heart and invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.<\/p>\n<p>Blessings dear hearts.
