{"id":5935,"date":"2017-10-24T06:00:02","date_gmt":"2017-10-24T13:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonline.us\/daily-e-votional\/?p=5935"},"modified":"2017-10-23T11:53:23","modified_gmt":"2017-10-23T18:53:23","slug":"experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/experience\/","title":{"rendered":"EXPERIENCE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ecclesiastes 8:5<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><em>\u201cHe who keeps his command will experience nothing harmful; And a wise man\u2019s heart discerns both time and judgment.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There is a constant complaint that certain employment positions require prior experience &#8230; but without the job it is impossible to gain experience. It seems to be a no-win problem.<\/p>\n<p>Following after the Lord allows everyone, from a small child to a brilliant scholar, to experience the Lord\u2019s blessings. Jesus even called people to come to Him as a little child: <span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><strong>\u201c<\/strong><em><strong>Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span>\u00a0(Matthew 18:4).<\/p>\n<p>In a world that places such unreasonable constraints on people to be conformed to pre-conceived expectations, it is refreshing to be accepted in Christ just as we are without needing prior experience.<\/p>\n<p>Part of gaining experience with the Lord is tasting His goodness.
