{"id":5931,"date":"2017-10-17T06:00:59","date_gmt":"2017-10-17T13:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonline.us\/daily-e-votional\/?p=5931"},"modified":"2017-10-20T08:48:58","modified_gmt":"2017-10-20T15:48:58","slug":"im-so-tired","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/im-so-tired\/","title":{"rendered":"I\u2019M SO TIRED!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Matthew 11:28-30<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><em>\u201cCome to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Across the years I have been blessed to counsel many people. One of the most common complaints I have heard is \u201cI\u2019m so tired.\u201d In a way it has been humorous since they complain that they are so tired they need a vacation, and when they return from vacation they are exhausted from the vacation.<\/p>\n<p>It rather reminds me of counseling people who are having marital problems. There will be boxes of tissues to dry the tears of those who wish they had never gotten married. Later,\u00a0 another person will cry their eyes out because they are not married and wish they were.<\/p>\n<p>The human body is capable of performing amazing feats of stamina. The way athletes run long distances and accomplish their acts of endurance is by\u00a0<strong>training<\/strong>. Little by little, day by day,\u00a0 they grow stronger and stronger until they can perform without the fatigue that once plagued them.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s Scripture Jesus gives us the spiritual prescription for our weariness:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a01.<\/strong> Come to Him.\u00a0<strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0Take His yoke upon us.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>3.<\/strong>\u00a0Learn from Him.
