{"id":5186,"date":"2016-08-11T06:00:35","date_gmt":"2016-08-11T13:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonline.us\/daily-e-votional\/?p=5186"},"modified":"2016-08-11T13:53:00","modified_gmt":"2016-08-11T20:53:00","slug":"at-least","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/at-least\/","title":{"rendered":"AT LEAST!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ephesians 6:13<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #c40000;\"><em>\u201cTherefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When we hear the words, <em>\u201cat least,\u201d<\/em> it is easy to think that some anticipated goal had not been met. For instance; <em>\u201cWe had hoped to harvest 300 acres this week, but <strong>at least<\/strong> we did harvest 200 acres.\u201d <\/em>That same sentiment could be applied to any number of goals that were set but not met. We had hoped to do one thing <strong>but <em>at least<\/em> <\/strong>we did something.<\/p>\n<p>In a way that is not bad. In fact there is some merit to it. While many people would give up and do nothing, individuals with purpose do the best they can and accomplish everything that is within their power to accomplish.<\/p>\n<p>Life is filled with challenges to our way of thinking. It is so easy to become discouraged and do nothing. People with a spirit of discouragement are not even capable of saying; <strong><em>at least<\/em><\/strong> this much was accomplished.<\/p>\n<p>I want to give you a word of encouragement. With God\u2019s help, do the best you are capable of doing for Him.
