{"id":4921,"date":"2016-03-02T06:00:41","date_gmt":"2016-03-02T13:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devonline.us\/daily-e-votional\/?p=4921"},"modified":"2016-03-01T15:06:50","modified_gmt":"2016-03-01T22:06:50","slug":"above-the-circumstances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyevotional.com\/prior2020\/above-the-circumstances\/","title":{"rendered":"ABOVE THE CIRCUMSTANCES!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Romans 8:36-37<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #cc0033;\"><em>&#8220;<\/em><em>As it is written: \u2018<\/em><em>For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.\u2019<\/em>\u00a0<em>Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.<\/em><em>&#8221; <\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You have no doubt heard the story of a man asking his friend,\u00a0<em>\u201cHow are you doing?\u201d<\/em> His friend responds,\u00a0<em>\u201cPretty good, under the circumstances.\u201d<\/em> The first man then asks,\u00a0<em>\u201cWhat are you doing under there?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It is safe to say that we are all going to be faced with the circumstances of life. It may be financial, social, physical, or any other type of circumstance. You may have already encountered adverse circumstances in the past, or they may be waiting for you in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Please do not feel depressed or hopeless. We serve a God who not only knows our every pain, but He has suffered infinitely more than we will ever have to endure.\u00a0 Our hope is expressed in the last sentence of today\u2019s Scripture: <span style=\"color: #c40000;\">\u201c<strong><em>Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>&#8220;<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Look up, dear hearts \u2026 our redemption draws near!
