1 Corinthians 13:4-7<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLove is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.<\/em> \u00a0<\/sup><\/em>It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.<\/em> \u00a0<\/sup><\/em>Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.<\/em> \u00a0<\/sup><\/em>It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On Sunday I challenged our congregation with 1\u00a0Corinthians 13. It has often been called the \u201cLove Chapter\u201d in the Bible, and rightfully so. Paul gives his readers a clear description of what Christian love should be. How do you rate?<\/p>\n

  1. Are you patient — even when you are forced to wait?<\/li>\n
  2. Have you developed a spirit of kindness by looking for ways to help people?<\/li>\n
  3. Are you afflicted with the green-eyed monster of jealousy and envy?<\/li>\n
  4. Do you like to remind others of your accomplishments?<\/li>\n
  5. Do you delight in feeling that you are better than others?<\/li>\n
  6. Are you negligent in caring about the needs and feelings of other people?<\/li>\n
  7. Are you<\/span><\/strong> the center of your <\/span><\/strong>universe?<\/li>\n
  8. Do you have a \u201cshort fuse\u201d and blow up when things do not go right?<\/li>\n
  9. Do you remember the wrongs other people have done to you?<\/li>\n
  10. Do you delight in evil by your actions or in your thought life?<\/li>\n
  11. Do you sincerely rejoice when the truth is revealed?<\/li>\n
  12. Are you a protector of the things of God?<\/li>\n
  13. Do you place your absolute trust in God\u2019s Word?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    After prayerfully completing this questionnaire, what changes do you feel God wants you to make in your life?<\/p>\n
