2 Thessalonians 2:1-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us\u2014whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter\u2014asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.<\/span><\/p>\n

October 9th<\/sup> has been a significant date for Joyce and me. It was a time of reunion for our family. We have four great-grandchildren, two of which we had never seen. The reason is because of the distances involved. One family lives in Berlin, Germany, another in Austin, Texas, and the last family lives two hours north of us in Monroe, Washington.<\/p>\n

The anticipation at having our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in our home has been great. To see and hold them was as great as we had expected, in fact more than we had even imagined.<\/p>\n

As wonderful as our reunion was here on earth, there is coming a reunion that will outshine anything on this side of glory. Just try to visualize what it will be like to see all of those who have died and gone on before us! We will see our oldest daughter who went to be with the Lord in 1991. What a joy it will be to see our parents and grandparents.<\/p>\n

There is one man I especially want to see. It is my grandpa Thompson. He died when I was a young boy, but he left a life-long impression on me. It was his last words on this earth that had such an impact. My dad related it to me: \u201cWell there\u2019s Jesus now!\u201d Wow! What a way to move from this life to Paradise.<\/p>\n

Blessings dear hearts. Draw near to God today, trust Him completely and be a blessing!<\/p>\n
