Jeremiah 32:17<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAh, Sovereign LORD, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

You may have heard the expression, \u201cThe hurrier I go, the behinder I get<\/em>!\u201d I feel that describes me at times. You may have noticed that I sent out Monday\u2019s Daily-E-Votional twice instead of Tuesday\u2019s. I was reminded of the oversight and sent the correct issue out later. SORRY!<\/p>\n

I have come to realize that some of these blunders work out for God\u2019s pleasure. It really is not up to me when and how someone may read an issue, and the Lord makes good using His timing instead of mine. In response to \u201cFiery Furnace Faith,\u201d I received this response. I will quote only a portion of it. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI made one of those \u2018fiery furnace prayers\u2019 back in 1981 when I was laying in a hospital bed paralyzed after back surgery. \u00a0The difference was that this may sound weird but it is the honest truth, I made a phone call that night to a place called \u201cDial a Prayer.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0It took years of being with the Lord before I realized what actually happened. \u00a0When I called the number (I still remember it!) this soft gentle deep male voice started with \u201cYou\u2019ve cried out many times, but this time is different. \u00a0You need a personal relationship with me, the Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d\u00a0 He went on to explain how to do that and then led me through a sinner’s prayer. \u00a0I remember that voice to this day.\u00a0 After I prayed a peace came over me, a freedom swept through me, and for the first time in 30 years of life I had a purpose! \u00a0I left a message on the answering machine saying who I was, where I was (room number and all) thanking this \u201cpastor\u201d for such a powerful message. \u00a0Growing up in church I never heard of a \u201cpersonal relationship\u201d with Jesus. \u00a0The next day the \u201cpastor\u201d was so curious he came in to see me. \u00a0I have seen some scared people in my life but this guy was terrified! \u00a0He literally plastered himself up against the wall with his hands at his sides holding on to the wall! \u00a0I proceeded to tell him what I heard.\u00a0 He told me it wasn\u2019t his message.\u00a0 I of course said, \u201cOh yes it is!\u00a0 Here, I\u2019ll dial it again and you listen!\u201d\u00a0 He said, \u201cNo you listen!\u201d\u00a0 I did and what I heard was some ridiculous generic prayer babble. \u00a0I told him \u201cYou changed it!\u201d\u00a0 He said, \u201cNo I don\u2019t do that until Wed. and today is Tuesday.\u201d\u00a0 I proceeded to tell him what I heard which only made him turn more pale and plaster tighter to the wall. \u00a0When I was finished he literally RAN out of the room, later he was arrested for running \u201cDial a Porn.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0So when people ask who led me in the sinner\u2019s prayer I say, \u201cThe Holy Spirit.\u201d\u00a0 I know now that God intercepted that phone call and spoke directly to me.\u201d<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

That was no accident my dear friend. The Lord has a way of doing abundantly above all that we ask or think. Thanks for permission to use this, Kathy.<\/p>\n
