GOD’S IMPOSSIBLE GIFT!
Isaiah 7:14 – Devotional
Isaiah 7:14
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
The impossible gift that God revealed to the prophet, Isaiah, was fulfilled many years later. What Isaiah could not see with his physical eyes, he viewed through the eyes of faith and His complete trust in the God he served.
Many times we find ourselves facing the obstacles of life and wonder how we can ever survive the on-slot of the enemy. It is during these times of pressure we need the guidance of Scripture.
One of the most precious gifts we have been given is the Word of God. Sadly in many lives it is a book that lies on a table and draws dust from lack of use. How sad that the source of victory over sin and death lies untouched!
God’s impossible gift to use is our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. He is foretold in the Old Testament and revealed in the New Testament. As we approach the day we celebrate His birth, let us thank God for His precious Impossible Gift!
May God richly bless you as you bless others by your words and actions!
